Let’s have a quick brief description of the above technical design layers with components used and tried resolving the challenges via Akamai:
Web Dashboards and Mobile Application
The layer contains six web based dashboards and user interfaces with mobile application which will be further connected either via Akamai CDN to speedup the API responses or without CDN.
Akamai Intelligent Platform (CDN)
The Akamai Intelligent Platform will be responsible to manage various API challenges including latency, reliability traffic spikes for the heavy used servers running critical microservices.
Azure Platform – Production
Azure production environment infrastructure setup will be responsible for the service the requests and executing the business logic and respond back to the requests.
External Database and Storage
External database and storage which includes country wise databases for now in the next phases there will be more data sources to the system including data warehouses, data lakes, file systems and other third party data sources.
